The Taourirt kasbah, former residence of the Pasha El Glaoui, can be visited right in the town centre. The Atlas Film Studios, among the largest open-air film studios in the world, have served as the backdrop for numerous international productions filmed in the region. About thirty kilometres away, the Aït Ben Haddou ksar, a UNESCO World Heritage site, remains one of the most photographed sites in Morocco.
