Data we collect
Contact form
When you send a message, we receive your name, email address, optional phone number and travel dates, and your message. We use this information only to answer you and to prepare your stay. Messages are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted.
Bookings
Online bookings are made on the WuBook booking engine (wubook.net), which processes your booking details on our behalf under its own privacy policy. Booking information is used to manage your reservation and your stay.
Visit statistics
We measure visits with our own privacy-friendly statistics tool. It does not use cookies and does not store your IP address: the address is combined with your browser type and a key that changes every day, then turned into an irreversible code that cannot identify you and cannot follow you from one day to the next. We record the page visited, the referring website, the type of device and the language. Detailed records are deleted after a few months; only daily totals are kept.
If Google Analytics is enabled on the site, it is loaded only after you accept it in the cookie banner. See our cookie policy.
Messaging and maps
If you contact us on WhatsApp, your message is handled by WhatsApp under its own terms. The location map is displayed with OpenStreetMap tiles, which means your browser requests map images from OpenStreetMap servers when the map is shown.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. It is shared only with the service providers needed to run the website and your booking (website hosting, the WuBook booking engine, email).
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to its use, by writing to residence.chay@gmail.com. In Morocco, personal data protection is governed by Law 09-08, overseen by the CNDP. Visitors from the European Union also have the rights provided by the GDPR.
Security
The website is served over HTTPS, and access to messages is restricted to the residence team.
